About the Program
The AIC Softball program was founded in 1969 and is the oldest women’s team at the College. Our program has a rich and successful history with nine conference titles, eighteen NE-10 Tournament appearances, and fifteen NCAA Tournament appearances. We’ve produced fifty-one First Team selections, forty-eight Second Team Selections, fifteen Third Team selections, and five All-Rookie selections. The College is proud to have also supported one Player of the Year, two different players for Rookie of the Year, one Pitcher of the Year, one Defensive Player of the Year, and produced AIC’s first Female All-American in 1989.
